My philosophy of the visual arts is based on "Art as Experience" where students learn by doing and in doing so explore the diversity that exists today in the visual arts and in life. Every culture has a history and value. Every person within a culture has a viewpoint unique to that individual. I plan to teach students about art and how it has evolved through time. The student will be able to try the different media such as clay, paint, printmaking, collage, drawing and sculpture materials that greatest artist tried in years long ago. This way, students get the chance to understand how art has evolved over the years. Grades will be based on daily participation, written assignments, tests and class projects. Assessments of projects will be based on fallowing directions, creativity, style and craftsmanship. ![]() in the fallowing divisions: DRAWING Congratulations to Sindyl Ayala , winner of BISD Photography contest "Diversity means..." organized by Texas PTA ![]() Photography "Raindrops of Diversity" Art Links Dallas Museum of Art Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth |
